Rogers Fall Family photoAll eyes on Noah (except for Chloe because she doesn't want to miss a chance to pose!) I love, Love, LOVE the emotion of this image! And the fall colors are pretty awesome, too!
Only the little fashion model in the front cares about the photographer. Everyone else is just focused on the youngest and his happiness. The family didn't even know I captured this shot until the photo viewing the next week. I love that! This is what family photos are all about for me. Capturing the unique emotions and dynamics of a family!

Afghan Hounds were my original "dog show" breed. I showed several Afghans and even bred one litter before joining my sister with her Steppin'wolf Irish Wolfhounds. I still love to hang out at the Afghan ring and visit with friends, old and new to the breed. We talk a lot about sighthound "body type" during those visits and what wolfhounds and Afghan Hounds should have in common.
This image features one of my favorite Afghan Hound folks, David Osuna. David began showing Siberian Huskies while he lived in Mexico. Today he shows a variety of dogs here in the United States, mostly in his home state of Texas. His latest dog is a Toy Poodle.
Here is David showing his Afghan Hound special, AKC Gch Ch Maya's Mockingbird at the 2012 Longview Kennel Club dog show in Longview, Texas.
